International Artwork Exchange

Blue Harvest

 Amber Lesson

 Grey Archive

Red Cathedral

 White Obstacle

Awhile back I participated in an artwork exchange with Jorge Restrepo, a Latin American artist with homes/studios in Tegucigalupa, Honduras, and Cali, Colombia.  We each created five pieces to exchange.  The five pieces I created are shown here.  I'll show Jorge's work in  my next post.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, Donna. I so appreciate your comments! I was just looking through your delightful small collages in your Etsy shop. They seem, of a piece, both intimate, and meditative. Lovely work!

  4. Thanks, Theresa! Your still life on Seth's blog created one of those "double-take" moments for me when I first saw it. You know, where you look at something quickly and think "what is that???--It sure looks familiar, but I'm not quite sure. . ." I think in this case it had everything to do with your presentation: how many pens there were, how they were contained by the circular border, and, of course, the lighting. Who would think that a collection of writing instruments could be made to look like this?! Amazingly creative! Hope you enjoyed your stash pilfering, today. I know I always do!
